This medicine is applied to your skin or incision during surgery.

A nurse or other trained health professional will give you this medicine.

You should not receive this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to thrombin, other human blood products, or hamster proteins.

Make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have had an allergic reaction to any bovine (such as ox or cow) products or snake proteins.

This medicine may increase your risk of blood clots. Tell your doctor right away if you have a sudden or severe headache, problems with vision or speech, chest pain, trouble breathing or swallowing, swelling or tenderness in your leg, or numbness or weakness.

This medicine is made from donated human blood. Some human blood products have transmitted certain viruses to people who have received them, although the risk is low. Human donors and donated blood are both tested for viruses to keep the transmission risk low. Talk with your doctor if you are concerned about this risk.

Tell any doctor or dentist who treats you that you are using this medicine. This medicine may affect certain medical test results.

• Burning, redness, swelling, itching, or skin rash where the medicine is applied
