It works by activating natural substances in the skin to reduce swelling, redness, and itching.

Analpram HC is a topical treatment used to treat skin irritation in the anal area caused by certain conditions. The generic version of this drug is hydrocortisone/pramoxine topical. This medicine is for use only on your skin in or around your anus. Do not get any medicine in your eyes, nose, or mouth.

FoamDo not use the aerosol container to put the medicine directly into your rectum. Always use the applicator that came with the medicine. Connect the applicator to the cap of the aerosol container. Shake the container for 5 to 10 seconds just before using. After you fill the applicator, gently insert it into the anus. Push the plunger to release the medicine.To use this medicine on the skin around your anus, place a small amount on a tissue and gently wipe your skin.Do not use near heat or open flame, or while smoking. Do not puncture, break, or burn the aerosol can.Wash the applicator with warm, soapy water after use.Store the medicine upright, at room temperature, away from heat and direct light. Do not refrigerate.
