Injection routeYour doctor will prescribe your dose and schedule. This medicine is given through a needle placed in a vein. This medicine needs to be given slowly, so the needle will have to remain in place for at least an hour.

Injection routeYou will receive this medicine while you are in a hospital or cancer treatment center. A nurse or other trained health professional will give you this medicine.

Missed dose: Injection routeThis medicine needs to be given on a fixed schedule. If you miss a dose, call your doctor, home health caregiver, or treatment clinic for instructions.

This medicine is not right for everyone. You should not receive it if you had an allergic reaction to panitumumab, or if you are pregnant.

Avoid overexposing your skin to sunlight. Always use sunscreen or sun blocking lotions and wear protective clothing and hats while you are receiving this medicine and for 2 months after the last dose.

This medicine may cause the following problems:Severe skin rash or infections, which could be life-threateningInfusion reactionsKidney problemsLung problems, including pulmonary fibrosis or interstitial lung diseaseEye or vision problems

Do not breastfeed during treatment with this medicine and for at least 2 months after the last dose.

Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, or a history of lung or breathing problems.

Injection routeIt is not safe to take this medicine during pregnancy. It could harm an unborn baby. Tell your doctor right away if you become pregnant. Use an effective form of birth control during treatment with this medicine and for at least 2 months after the last dose.

Fever, chills, trouble breathing, chest tightness, faintness

Your doctor will do lab tests at regular visits to check on the effects of this medicine. Keep all appointments.

Severe diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting

This medicine can cause serious skin reactions, and sunlight can make this worse. Take precautions while you are receiving this medicine and for 2 months after the last dose. Wear hats and use sunscreen when you are outside. Do not use sunlamps or tanning beds.

• Change in how much or how often you urinate, rapid weight gain, swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet
• Fever, chills, chest tightness, faintness
• Blistering, peeling, red skin rash
• Chest pain, trouble breathing, cough, cold sweat, or bluish-colored skin
• Blurred vision or vision changes, eye redness or pain, watery eyes
• Dry, itchy, or cracking skin, acne, fingernail changes or swelling around your nails
• Mild diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting
