Neomycin, polymyxin, and bacitracin combination is used to prevent minor skin injuries such as cuts, scrapes, and burns from becoming infected. Neomycin, polymyxin, and bacitracin are in a class of medications called antibiotics. Neomycin, polymyxin, and bacitracin combination works by stopping the growth of bacteria.

Clean the wound and apply a small amount of ointment or cream. You may cover the wound with a bandage after putting on the medicine.
You should not use this medicine if you have ever had an allergic reaction to bacitracin, neomycin, or polymyxin B.
For more serious wounds such as puncture wounds, animal bites, or severe burns, you should call your doctor before using this medicine.
You should not use this medicine for more than 7 days, unless your doctor has told you to. If your symptoms do not get better or if they get worse, stop using this medicine and call your doctor.
