Throw away any unused oral liquid 28 days after first opening the bottle.

Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.

Take your medicine as directed. Your dose may need to be changed several times to find what works best for you. This medicine usually works within 8 weeks after you start taking it.

Swallow the extended-release tablet whole. Do not crush, break, or chew it. Adults may take this medicine with or without food. Children should take it with food.

Oral liquid: It is best to take this medicine within 1 hour with food.Shake the bottle well just before taking each dose.Measure the oral liquid medicine with a marked measuring spoon, oral syringe, or medicine cup.

Read and follow the patient instructions that come with this medicine. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.

Missed dose: If you miss a dose and it is less than 12 hours from your regular schedule, take the dose as soon as you can. If you miss a dose and it is more than 12 hours, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double doses.

This medicine is not right for everyone. Do not use it if you had an allergic reaction to mirabegron.

Your doctor will do lab tests at regular visits to check on the effects of this medicine. Keep all appointments.

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have kidney disease, liver disease, high blood pressure, or bladder outlet obstruction (trouble urinating or a weak urine stream).

Some medicines can affect how mirabegron works. Tell your doctor if you are using desipramine, digoxin, flecainide, metoprolol, propafenone, thioridazine, or a blood thinner (including warfarin).

This medicine may cause high blood pressure.

• Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
• Blurred vision, headache, fast, pounding, or uneven heartbeat, lightheadedness, dizziness
• Constipation
• Dry mouth, sore throat
