Oral routeIt is best to take this medicine with food or milk.
Capsule, gel capsule, or tablet: Swallow whole. Do not crush, chew, or break it.
Chewable wafer: Chew the wafer before you swallow it.
Oral liquid: Measure the oral liquid medicine with a marked measuring spoon, oral syringe, or medicine cup. The medicine may be taken alone or dissolved in water, juice, or other liquids. Drink the medicine slowly.
Powder: Mix with at least 4 ounces of juice or water. Drink the mixture slowly.
Missed dose: Take a dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, wait until then and take a regular dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up for a missed dose.
Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.
