This medicine is given through a needle placed in one of your veins or as a shot into one of your muscles.
This medicine is a blue dye. Your urine may be blue after you receive the medicine. This is normal and should not cause problems.
Injection routeA nurse or other health provider will give you this medicine.
This medicine is not right for everyone. You should not receive it if you had an allergic reaction to indigotindisulfonate (indigo carmine).
