Your doctor will tell you how much medicine to use. Do not use more than directed.

If you are going to use a bandage, let the treated area dry before you cover it.

Clean the affected area, and then apply a small amount of medicine.

You will receive Eskata„¢ in a clinic or doctor's office. A nurse or other trained health professional will give you the medicine using an applicator.

This medicine is for use on the skin only. Do not get it get in your eyes, nose, or mouth. If it does get on these areas, rinse it off right away with water. Do not use this medicine over large areas of your body.

Follow the instructions on the medicine label if you are using this medicine without a prescription.

Topical application routeWash your hands with soap and water before and after you use this medicine.

Missed dose: Call your doctor or pharmacist for instructions.

Read and follow the patient instructions that come with this medicine. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.

Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.

This medicine is generally considered safe for most people. Talk to your doctor if you have concerns.

Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or if they get worse. Your doctor may want to retreat you with Eskata„¢ after at least 3 weeks if your skin condition did not completely resolve.

Do not use on deep wounds, puncture wounds, animal bites, or serious burns, unless your doctor says it is okay.

If you are using this medicine without a prescription, do not use it for more than 1 week unless your doctor tells you to.

Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Never share your medicine with anyone.

Your doctor will check your progress and the effects of this medicine at regular visits. Keep all appointments.

Eskata„¢ can cause severe eye problems. If it accidentally gets into your eyes, your doctor will tell you to rinse them well with water for 15 to 30 minutes.

Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or if they get worse.
