Crisaborole is used to treat eczema (atopic dermatitis; a skin condition which causes the skin to be dry and itchy and to sometimes develop red, scaly rashes) in adults and children 3 years of age and older. Crisaborole is in a class of medications called phosphodiesterase inhibitors. It works by blocking the action of certain natural substances in the body that cause inflammation.
Eucrisa is a nonsteroidal medication used to treat atopic dermatitis. It relieves itching, redness and swelling caused by eczema. It is indicated for use on adults and children 2 years and older. This medication is available as an ointment.

Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.
Topical application routeApply a thin layer of the medicine to the affected area. Rub it in gently.
Topical application routeUse this medicine only on your skin. Rinse it off right away if it gets on a cut or scrape. Do not get the medicine in your eyes, nose, or mouth.
