Frequently Asked Questions

Epiceram is a non-steroid emollient that protects and hydrates your skin. By moisturizing your skin, it reduces symptoms associated with dry skin such as irritation and itching. It is prescribed for many types of skin dermatoses as well as eczema and skin allergies.

Similar to Epiceram, TL-Cermide, Ceracade, Emulsion SB, and Entty Spray Emulsion may be used to treat these skin conditions. Consult with your doctor to determine the best treatment for your condition.

For one tube of Epiceram 225 g, the average retail cost without insurance is $440. The Epiceram price will vary depending on your insurance, required dosage, and pharmacy.

A generic version of this drug is not currently available. You can use our free Epiceram discount card to reduce the cost of this drug by up to 80% when you purchase this medication at a participating local pharmacy.

Epicerm is supplied in a 90 g tube, a 100 g airless pump, and a 225 g airless pump. Follow your doctor's dosage instructions for this drug, or follow the dosage instructions on the packaging.
